Coffee with a side of lead?

Coffee cups are a concern when it comes to lead and chemical exposure. Hot, acidic coffee can release heavy metals and chemicals found in mugs. The accumulation of lead in the body over time is a concern, especially with continued exposure. Cracks and chips in the glaze can increase the risk.

Kristina is a Licensed Interior Designer and Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Her passion and dedication to healthy living and the environment began in college as her own health declined. For her, the toxicity of the air, water, food, electromagnetic radiation, building and consumer products found and consumed in our homes and businesses became evident.
